Description:

Faro Envato is a human warrior from the kingdom of Incarta, known for his strength and unwavering loyalty. He is Eli Ashford’s closest companion and secret brother, though this familial bond remains unknown to both for much of their lives. Faro’s fate takes a tragic turn after the final battle with Cosimir the Eternal when he is transformed into a lion-like humanoid through dark magic. This transformation and encounter erases his memory and leaves him grappling with his new identity as both a warrior and a beast with an unknown history.

Appearance:

Before his transformation, Faro was a tall, broad-shouldered man with a rugged build, sharp green eyes, and a short, scruffy beard. After the battle at Mt. Fluore, however, Faro’s appearance changes drastically. His once human form is replaced by the body of a lion-man—his face is that of a lion, with a thick mane of tawny fur, sharp feline features, and golden eyes that reflect both intelligence and confusion. His hands and feet have transformed into claws, though his body retains a humanoid shape. His clothing, now strained by his new form, consists of a blue tunic with gold embroidery, a ribbon fastening it at the collar, and tattered brown pants that show signs of his previous life. Faro’s muscular frame is even more imposing in his new lion-like form, though he carries an air of sadness and confusion as he struggles to remember his past.

Personality:

Faro is brave and fiercely loyal, with a deep sense of justice and duty. Even after his transformation, these traits remain, though they are now coupled with an underlying sense of loss and frustration due to his memory loss. He retains his honorable nature, often trying to do what is right despite not fully understanding who he is. His lion form gives him a more primal edge, and he sometimes struggles with the animal instincts that come with his new body. Despite these challenges, Faro’s core remains the same—he is determined to protect his allies and uncover the truth about his past.

Backstory:

Faro grew up as a prince in the mining kingdom of Incarta, working alongside Eli Ashford as a close friend and ally. Though he never knew of his true lineage, Faro was secretly Eli’s brother, born from an affair between their father and a lowly woman. As the rebellion against Cosimir grew, Faro became Eli’s most trusted companion, fighting by his side in the battle to free Evania. During the final battle at Mt. Fluore, Faro was blasted down the mountain by dark magic after attempting to stop Eli’s transformation. He tumbled down the mountainside and, when he awoke, he had been transformed into a lion-man by the residual dark magic. His memory was wiped, leaving him lost and confused as he stumbled into the nearby town of Graeton.
